What papers do I need?
You'll need current
Coggins and Health Certificates for each horse. Please check your state laws for length of health certificate, as some
states differ.
Who provides the hay and or feed?
To keep your horse on the same diet,
we ask that you provide one bale of hay and/or one bag of feed per horse, depending on the length of the trip. We, of
course keep quality coastal hay on the trailer to meet our standard of three feedings a day.
How often
are the horses rested?
We rest the horses every three to four hours for at least an hour and we check on them
every two hours.
Does your company have references?
Yes. References will be provided
upon request.
Where do you haul?
All over the continental United States.
Will
the transporter call before pick-up and delivery?
We always call prior to pick-up and delivery to assure the
customer of the time of arrival and to obtain directions when necessary. You will be provided numbers to call and check on
your horses at any time.
Can I ship tack and other items with my horse?
A halter,
lead, and blanket may be shipped at no charge. At the transporters discretion, larger items may be shipped at a $25 to $50
charge, depending on the size and quantity of the items.
How do you schedule your trips?
We
schedule east and west coast trips at two week intervals.
